I’ve been a client of Pousada Rio Roosevelt since 2002, that is, 19 years ago. Without a doubt this hostel is the best of all I know, for its rustic beauty, wealth in fish, courtesy of the staff and especially the service in charge of manager Nilson.

In our season in July 2021, we took in 8 boats the tassher of 881 fish, outside piranha. This is fantastic, a fishery that effectively catches fish and good.

Without a doubt, the Rio Roosevelt Inn is simply sensational.

I come through since thanking all staff of Pousada Rio Roosevel.

We were very well treated since our first contact with Mrs Keila and the other sectors such as the reception of the hostel, kitchen, bartender, maid and the pilot, worthy treatment to 5 star hotel.
The transfer made by Rima air transport made with excellence both on arrival and return.

We had 5 days real south regarding fishing with an amazing variety of fish, we took 387 specimens among them 4 pyroraras over 35kg and another 10 smaller specimens, 1 Caparari of 18kg, Several Cacharas, Many Peacock Bass from 2Kg to 6Kg, Corvinas from 3kg to 7Kg, Dogs up to 12Kg, Jundiá up to 12Kg, Piaus and some three other species that I do not remember the name.

In short simply amazing.

The Lodging at the Pousada Was very welcoming, the service of the staff was excellent, the food homemade type, very tasty and a special highlight to the pilots who were extremely attentive in the support of fishing ! Overall it was excellent!!

Good morning staff of Pousada Rio Roosevelt. I come through this message with immense satisfaction and many joys after three seasons of fishing in this fantastic hostel which I consider the best in Brazil. We begin with the receptivities of Miss Keila in the secretariat of Goiânia who with great affection the organization of the trip. Then mr. Nilson in the management of the hostel which with his staff welcomes us in a wonderful way. Well, the chalets are all air-conditioned with five-star ambieon. The best, there is no mosquito or any insect that disturbs the environment. The quality of the food is inesplicable better than in any Brazilian restaurant. It is an ecological park of federal reserve without any penetration of predators or invasions, difficult to access unless by air, in short, the tranquility of the guest is total. Where we enjoyed fishing the singing of birds and totally virgin nature. Congratulations to mr. Waner director of the hostel and all its staff.

On arrival, the 16th in the afternoon, we leave the sticks and heavy luggage in the rima store. So it was much more comfortable going to Slaviero. The inn is an earring! As always, they've made several improvements since last year. Very good fishing. Lots of action of beaks, cachorras, pirararas, corvinas, jundiás, peacock bass. River full, but low quickly.

I’ve traveled all over the country after the most varied species of fish and never found anything like what I found at the Roosevelt River Inn. Lots of fish variety and with differentiated size (191 fish in 7 days). Nicer place? Unknown! Large rustic chalets with daily change of bed linen and towels, laundry, food better than 5 star hotel, first-rate service,(missing guess what you want), pilot is not lazy for anything and is always willing to do the best for customers! I was sad just to be gone! I’ll be back as soon as I can! Thank you Inn Rio Roosevelt!

I can say, without a doubt, that the Roosevelt River Inn is the most well-preserved place I have ever met in all of Brazil. It is impossible to visit the hostel without leaving there with the distinct feeling that you are a privileged person for having had the chance to know a place like that. The owner’s courage to open a comfortable inn in the heart of the forest, the banks of the legendary Roosevelt River is a true gift to birdwatchers who can walk through more than 12 trails in the woods. A beautifully constructed wooden tower was erected at a strategic point in the forest allowing for observations of spectacular birds at eye level. There were many unforgettable moments that I lived in this forest, but I cannot fail to mention here the two observations I made of the rare Black-throated Clash (Rondonia Bushbird), the beautiful pictures I made of the mother-of-Antbird-Golden (Pale-faced Antbird) and the Magnificent encounters with Jaguar on the banks of the Roosevelt River.

Roosevelt River was amazing. They seem to be mostly a fishing shop, but they have big birds there too. Roosevelt River was very beautiful and wild that made it my favorite place. Also some of us fished twice and that was spectacular! We also really like the food on the Roosevelt river; Fresh fish for lunch and dinner every day and free beer!

Congratulations on the facilities, structure, level of attendance and especially the choice of this wonderful place. This sanctuary must be preserved at all costs. All the way back! Hugs!

I don’t fish, I fish. I didn’t turn it off. As a southern Brazilian, I always wanted to know the Amazon, I knew. Stunning location, trained staff. Now I know and I’ve been good.
